Jr. Design Engineer
Qualification:
B.E. Mechanical with 0 to 3 Year experience PG in Mechanical design
Experience:
0 to 3 Year experience on relevant technology
Should have experience in Static Equipment (Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, Column,
Storage Tanks) design and detail engineering
Should have knowledge of good engineering practices related to Static equipment design in
Oil and Gas/Energy/Power/Food/Pharma industry
Technical Skills Required:
PV Elite and COMPRESS proficiency
Knowledge of autocad
Knowledge of ASME, PED 5500, EN, AD 2000 and TEMA codes
Awareness of mechanical design based on HTRI output
Design of tanks based on API 650 codes
Requirements:
Should be a team player with a proactive approach.
Should have good communication and leadership skills.
Should be able to work under pressure and manage deliveries on time.
Should be able to work for extended time to ensure timely deliveries
Roles / Responsibilities:
Mechanical design of various types of vessels, heat exchangers, columns, agitators, filters
and other static equipment.
Handle meetings/interactions with client/third party to understand project requirements and
implement the same successfully.
Preparation of PV Elite report, coordinating with draughtsman for GA drawing and
fabrication drawings
Mechanical design of static equipment in accordance with process inputs, design basis,
contractual technical conditions and codes and standards.
Assistance to customer for design changes during manufacturing of equipment
Communicate with customers/fabricators during the project execution to understand the
scope and comment resolution on reports/drawing.
Support to Sales in preparing cost estimates for static equipment design.
Providing inputs to mechanical draughtsman team for drawing preparation.
Checking of the drawings as per design reports.
